eventful day

1. Results

yupps. so today went to collect results in the morning. my gpa is EXACTLY the same as i had calculated at home la X) so i was not surprised or anything. wells my english and lit and math are really close to the next gpa X )) but moving on! i hope i'll do better next year(: yay

2. Full dress rehearsals

results were followed by some practice at home, then chionged to nafa for piano lesson first. It was pouring, so my mum called for a cab. and guesss what. the cab turned in after waiting at level one (where it was pouring?!) and after lingering a moment, just turned OUT the exit before my very eyes. brief description of feelings: shock -> disbelief -> frustration hahaXD by the time we reached nafa i was 20 min late for lesson>< so it affected my reh @ 4.30. the reh went fine, even to the extent of being quite good((: cos like mrs chan said we sort of adapted to each other heh. the real thing: we were playing nicely when nearing the end, ben's bow hairs (a LARGE amount of them in the middle) just peeled off? i was like shocked. lol so many some more. in the end we didn't finish playing X( our ending was the nicest! so wasted.

conclusion for reh: like mrs chan said, all of us here have a common goal, that is to make music, and to share the music with the audience. It doesn't matter how you look on stage or whether you remember what your teacher has told you to do or not to do, the most important thing is to play from your heart and give it your all. And it doesn't matter how big or small your piece is, as long as your playing is heartfelt, the audience will feel your sincerity(:
